Here we can find extremely interesting collections of both paintings and sculptures from the Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque periods.

The frescoes from the Romanesque period from the churches of Santa María de Taüll, Sant Climent de Taüll and Pedret, famous all over the world, stand out.

Gothic art is represented here by the painters from the so-called Catalan school. From the Renaissance and Baroque periods there are painters such as El Greco, Velázquez and Zurbarán.

The collection of ceramics exhibited in the museum should also be highlighted.
