D'EGIPTOLOGIA
Located
at number 284 Calle València is the new Egyptian Museum, which is
divided into three floors and which includes some six hundred archaeological
items which make up one of the main private collections of the world.
The museum is organized into thematic areas.
CASA
PAU UBARRI
Situated
at no. 293, the Casa Pau Ubarri was designed by the architect Miquel
Madorell i Rius, who built it between 1902 and 1904. The whole façade
is a marvellous example of cast iron architecture.
CONSERVATORI
MUNICIPAL DE LA MÚSICA
Designed
by the architect Antoni Falguera who was inspired by the neogothic
constructions of Puig i Cadafalch. It is distinguished by the architecture
of its façade, with twin circular towers.
