The Basilica of La Mercè is a baroque temple, the only one in Barcelona with a curved façade.
Its high altar preserves a Gothic engraving of the Virgin of La Mercè, by Pere Moragas (1361).
The players of FC Barcelona come to this basilica when they win a title to offer it to the Virgin of La Mercè.
