Housed in the Casa Clariana-Padellàs (16th C.), it was transferred from Via Laietana to its current location in the Plaça del Rei as a result of urban reforms in 1931.

In this museum we can see the whole history of the city, from the time of the Romans, that is to say from when it was founded, up to the present day, with photographs, models and ancient texts.
