It’s a family run hotel, with an easy going and friendly atmosphere. The owner and his son, are very friendly and will do their best to make your stay an easy and pleasant one. Moreover, the hotel has a bar and a restaurant, with a delicious lunch menu, at a very affordable price. We really recommend it if you want to try good home made Catalan cuisine. The hotel reception is open 24 hours. In a word, it’s ideal for couples, friends or family, visiting Barcelona, who prefer a more quiet place with an easy going atmosphere and at an excellent price quality relation.

The hotel Travessera Barcelona has been partially renewed, and has 17 rooms, all of them equipped with full bathroom, air conditioned, heating, color TV, direct phone and hair dryer. There are also 6 family rooms (2 communicated double rooms), ideal for families with children. Some rooms have been completely renewed, and they are comfortable, modern and nicely decorated.

Location

As for the situation, the hotel Travessera Barcelona is located in the well known BARRI de GRACIA, a quiet area, but young and lively. Only a few minutes walking you’ll find a large offer of charming small restaurants, cafés or terraces, ideal to have a nice and unforgettable time. The hotel Travessera Barcelona is well communicated by metro and bus to the old and historic city center. Next to the hotel you’ll find a bus that takes you directly to Plaça Catalunya and Ramblas. Also, 10 minutes away, you’ll find the metro (green and yellow lines), that will also take you to the city center. If you prefer to walk, between the hotel and the Ramblas, you’ll cross Eixample area, famous for it’s grid design but specially well known because you’ll find there all Modernist works such as Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera, la manzana de la Discordia, etc, which are a “must visit”.
