DESCRIPTION:
Cherished with iron door, the apartment is situated in what's called "Old Town". The apartment is recently refurbished, yet maintains its antique character amd has a capacity up to 6 people. Its location in the "Gothic" area, near the harbour letting you enjoy two of the most important features of Barcelona: the Old Town and the sea. The apartment is located in a quiet pedestrianised street near the Mercè church and is a very lively area with a wide range of leisure facilities.
The apartment has a wide double room with two single beds, wardrobes and mirrors and it is decorated in a young and fresh style. There is another single room one individual bed. The living-room, main room of the apartment, is furnished and has television, music hi-fi, wardrobes with Barcelona guides and books, a sofa-bed where can sleep up to 2 people more and an American kitchen. The bathroom complete the rooms of the apartment.

If you come by plane to Prat airport, you can take the Aerobús or the train (RENFE) until Plaça Catalunya. Once there, the most recommended way is taking a taxi to the apartment (5€ aprox.) or to take the metro until Drassanes (line 3 ) and walk about 5 minutes. If you're coming from Girona airport, you can take the Sagales bus to Norte Bus Station, close to Arco Triunfo, where you can take the metro line (L1) to Plaza Catalunya. From there, you can take metro L3 until Drassanes (line 3 ).
If you are travelling by train, from Sants station you can take the metro directly and stop in Drassanes (line 3 ). Then, walk about 5 minutes to reach the apartment.
The area
Apartment located between the Gothic Quarter and the sea, in a quiet pedestrian street of the Old Town of Barcelona, near from Mercè Church and separated by one street from the Paseo Colón, a wide road open to the harbour and the sea and Maremagnum. The great location of the apartment will help you plan your visits by foot to most of the tourist places: the sea, las Ramblas, Maremagnum, Museo Picasso, Born, Santa María del Mar, etc.
Two metro lines (green and yellow) and several buses will let you travel around the city without any problem. When the night falls it's time to far as the area is full of restaurants, pubs and tradicional 'tascas'.
