DESCRIPTION:
Avimer 31 is located in a very typical, antique however recently renovated hotel. Up to six people can stay in this beautiful and stylish place. Its location, is in "el Barrio Gotico" and as it's close to the sea the vistor can enjoy two of the most important symbols of Barcelona, the old neighbourhood "Barrio Gotico" and of course, the sea. The apartment is situated in a quiet street close to the Iglesia de la Merce, a very animated street with a lot of leisure oportunities available.
The apartments offer a spacious double room with double bed, wardrobe and decorated mirrors in a young and laid back style. There is another double room with two single beds.The living room, the most important room of the apartment, is fully furnitured and has a TV, stereo tower, cupboards with tourist guides about Barcelona and books and a sofa-bed where two more people can sleep. A kitchen which is fully equipped and the bathroom complete the fabulous aspects of this great apartment.

If you come by plane to Prat airport, you can take the Aerobús or the train (RENFE) until Plaça Catalunya. Once there, the most recommended way is taking a taxi until de apartment (5€ aprox.) or to take the metro until Drassanes (line 3 ) and walk about 5 minutes. If you are coming from Girona airport, you can take the Sagales bus to Norte Bus Station, close to Arco Triunfo, where you can take the metro line (L1) to Plaza Catalunya. From there, you can take metro L3 until Drassanes (line 3 ).
If you are travelling by train, from Sants station you can take the metro directly and stop in Drassanes (line 3 ). Then, walk about 5 minutes to reach the apartment.
The area
Apartment located between the Gothic Quarter and the sea, in a quiet pedestrianised street on the Old Townside of Barcelona. Near the Mercè Church and separated by one street from the Paseo Colón- a wide road open to the harbour, the sea and "Maremagnum". Excelent location if you plan to go by foot to most sights: the sea, las Ramblas, Maremagnum, Museo Picasso, Born, Santa María del Mar, etc.
Two metro lines (green and yellow) and several buses take you around the city no problem. When night falls it's time to enjoy Barcelona by night. And don' t worry, you don' t have to search too much because the area is plentyful of restaurants, pubs and tradicional 'tascas'.
